Loyalty Period Ends

Published: 6th July 2015

The season ticket loyalty period ended on Sunday 5th July and the response of United fans has been excellent with over 4500 season ticket purchased for the upcoming season. The ticket centre operated extended hours over the weekend and supporters attended in their hundreds to secure their seats for the 2015/16 Ladbrokes Premiership campaign. Ticket centre manager Fran Ritchie said,“It was extremely busy over the weekend and the demand justified extending the opening hours. The staff here worked tirelessly to ensure every order was processed in time for the deadline and every season ticket holder left happy.” United face three massive fixtures over the opening weeks of the season with Aberdeen, Dundee and Celtic visiting Tannadice in the first three home Ladbrokes Premiership matches and securing your season ticket is the most effective way to ensure you can attend these fixtures. Throughout the loyalty period, eight weekly random draws were conducted in which season ticket holders won a variety of prizes and we will now see three season ticket holders given the opportunity to attempt a crossbar challenge to receive their season ticket for free. General Manager David Southern remarked,“The response has been wonderful but it is to be expected from the United fans who continually show their support for the team. The loyalty initiatives proved popular and season ticket holders will be rewarded with more initiatives soon. “The excitement is now building towards the start of the season and the team can look forward to being backed by a large and vociferous home crowd.”
