This Saturday United travel to Ayrshire to face 10th placed Kilmarnock. By Joe James However frustrating it was to witness yet another defeat on Saturday v Hamilton Accies, Arabs were handed a much improved display with some of the best football seen this season. Let's hope this is a sign of things to come as the team go into Saturday's game at Rugby Park. There are signs of improvement on the injury front as well. It is possible that we may see Chris Erskine return to action following a lengthy spell in the stands. Calum Morris is back in training but tomorrow's match may come too soon for him as well as for Paul Paton who is hoped to be fit again before the end of the year. New signings Guy Demel and Florent Sinama Pongolle have had a week to get settled in and are available for selection. The sides have met only once this season, back in mid September when United fell to a 2-1 defeat at Tannadice. Kilmarnock attacker Kallum Higginbotham opened the scoring just before half-time from the spot, before Billy Mckay, too, converted from his spot kick just after the hour. United had many chances to come away with a victory, Ryan Dow and Aaron Kuhl both coming close with efforts but, with two minutes remaining, a wonderfully struck shot from Kevin McHattie sealed all three points for the visitors. Gary Locke's side come into the game on the back of a 5-2 home defeat to Partick Thistle and will be eager to improve their fortunes. With United facing the three sides sitting closest to United in the table over the next four matches, it's hugely important that on Saturday Paatelainen's men  continue to improve, pick up the three points and climb up the Scottish Premiership table. Come on United!! Seat-specific United end tickets for this match are still on sale from the Tannadice Ticket Centre. In addition, cash turnstiles will be open at the away end at Rugby Park on the day of the game. Prices are as follows: £20.00 – Adults / £15.00 – 65+/U21/Students /£5.00 – Under 16s United supporters are allocated the Chadwick Stand. Full ticket info here.
